The bike works for getting you where you need to go, but unless you pedal faster then the motor you should only expect 12-13 miles an hour and a Mac distance of 10 miles before it’s dead. With pedaling it will get you the 15.5 miles per hour with about 15 miles distance

I bought the Dyu D3 smart electric bike after looking for a small e bike that’s easy to store and carry. The bike is a foldable electric bike that’s very lightweight and compact. It has a 240W motor that can go up to 25 km/h and a 36V battery that can last for 45 km on a single charge. It also has a smart app that connects to your phone and shows you speed, battery level, distance and more. It has two modes: pedal assist and pure electric. I usually use the pedal assist mode for short trips and the pure electric mode for longer rides. It’s very fun and convenient to ride, and it has front and rear disc brakes for safety. It also comes with a horn, a headlight and a tail light. It’s a great bike for anyone who wants a small and simple way to get around.

900 km and just new battery
We’ve had our DYU for 5 years and it’s gone through all seasons and is surprisingly good on snowy roads. It’s logged close to 900 km in the Austrian Alps and is super to take on a train. It’s a real workhorse. I’ve just replaced the battery (which was a challenge to find to buy) after about a year off, and it’s good to go again. The only complaint I have is that it was very difficult for me to locate a seller for the correct replacement battery.

After many weeks of rain, today is full of sunshine and blue skys, so out comes the bikes to explore the Broadwater parklands cycleways at Gold Coast Queensland Australia. I have an older version and love it. However, buyer beware, you will not be able to find a battery for this model if it dies or goes bad and I don’t understand why dyu doesn’t sell them. While I still love mine, I’d pick a different version where you could find a replacement battery.
